Marsfield has access to the M2 Hills Motorway, that runs through the northern part of the suburb. It is serviced by Shorelink, Busways, Forest Coach Lines. A short walk to Macquarie Park railway station and Macquarie University railway station and North Ryde railway station are underground stations on the Epping to Chatswood rail line of the CityRail network
Schools and other education institutions
Macquarie University is one of Australia`s largest universities. It features a 126 hectare park-like campus beside a high-technology corridor. The University is affiliated with a number of colleges also located in the suburb including Dunmore Lang College, Robert Menzies College an Anglican college, Macquarie Christian Studies Institute and Sydney Institute of Business & Technology. When it comes to schools, Marsfield residents are spoiled for choice. You might try any of the following: Epping Boys High, Kent Road Public School, St Anthony's School and Eastwood Heights Public Schools.
The enormous Macquarie Centre on the corner of Herring and Waterloo roads has 230 shops, including a department store, a number of large supermarkets, a 16-screen cinema complex and an ice rink
